Courtney Forrest Promoted to Partner
KaiserDillon PLLC is pleased to announce that Courtney Forrest has been promoted to Partner at the firm.
“Courtney is a tenacious and gifted attorney who cares deeply about our clients. She is also a tremendous colleague with excellent judgment. We’re lucky to have her working at our firm, and I’m excited to work with her as a Partner,” said Managing Partner Matt Kaiser.
Since joining the firm in 2018, Courtney has represented clients in a wide variety of criminal and civil litigation matters. She convinced the court to dismiss all federal criminal charges against an individual suffering from serious mental illness, and prevented the government from medicating him against his will. She also successfully defended a professional organization in a civil lawsuit filed by a disgruntled former member who had been terminated for sexual misconduct.
Prior to joining the firm, Courtney clerked for the Honorable Roger W. Titus in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland and practiced for eight years at Covington & Burling LLP. Courtney holds a Top Secret/ SCI security clearance.
“I am honored to join the partnership at KaiserDillon,” Courtney said. “This firm is composed of superb lawyers who put their whole hearts into achieving excellent results for our clients, and I am thrilled to begin the next phase of my career with such wonderful colleagues.”
