Bill Pittard Teaches a DC Bar CLE on “Representing Clients in Congressional Investigations”
KaiserDillon partner Bill Pittard taught other lawyers in the District of Columbia about assisting individuals and companies in responding to congressional requests, or demands, for testimony and documents.
Attendees learned how to assist clients from the request letter stage through possible document productions, depositions, and hearings. Topics also included the assertion of privilege in the congressional subpoena context, contempt, and subpoena enforcement proceedings.
The course was offered on March 16 both live and via webinar.
